Duane and Paulette Trouba began the business with a simple philosophy, Quality products and quality customer service. Operating from the same location in Lincoln. That philosophy is still in place today.

In 2001, Dan and Mary Kay Gould purchased the store from the Trouba’s keeping the name in place that has been established for 30 years. Several product lines and services have been added, but still holding true to the quality product vision. In late 2005 Dan and Mary Kay purchased another store in Omaha. Originally named Outdoor Kitchen Distributors, the Omaha store had been established for over 25 years offering high quality Barbecue Grills, Patio Furniture and Fireplace accessories.

Today, the two locations, Troubas’ Patio & Outdoor Kitchen in Lincoln and Outdoor Kitchen and Patio of Omaha combined offer Nebraska’s largest year round retailer for High quality Patio furniture, Barbecue grills and outdoor accessories. Expanding product diversity has led to additional products and services for consumers as well as businesses. By adding sources for commercial grade outdoor furniture we are now able to supply businesses and restaurants with outdoor furniture for a wide range of uses. Style, Selection and Service are the three elements of Trouba’s philosophy that remain today.
